About Friar Street Kitchen
We opened our beautiful little restaurant on the 15th April 2017, with over 15 years’ experience in the restaurant industry we felt it time to take the next step in opening our very own little place!
As we are both from farming backgrounds so local, British and Fairtrade produce is of utmost importance to us, responsible & sustainable sourcing being our ethos. We’re both very passionate about locally sourced, British food so felt the only path to take would be to open a restaurant to reflect our passion, Friar street kitchen was born!
Whilst we focus on local steaks & meat we also have vegetarian & vegan options too using the very best in fresh, local produce.
We spent a few months sourcing suppliers that could meet our needs of the highest possible quality, we finally settled and haven’t yet looked back.
